MIAMI (CBSMiami) — You’re not sure what to think when you see a viral video of polar bear petting a dog.

To be clear, polar bears would usually try to eat a dog.

Video shows a dog laying on a rock in Manitoba, Canada, while the polar bear gently patted him, according to the Miami Herald.

The man who filmed it was leading a bus tour of the dog sanctuary calling it “heartwarming” and “absolutely beautiful.”

It turns out the sweetness didn’t last long. CBC News reports a polar bear was removed from the same area a couple of days later for eating a dog.
