MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Zoo Miami's "wildlife prognosticator" is set to predict the winner of this year's NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship.

Koda is a 4-year-old cheetah from South Africa and on Tuesday morning, he'll attempt to pick a winner.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion will be decided on Sunday at Homestead-Miami Speedway at the Ford EcoBoost 400. Joey Logano, Carl Edwards, defending champion Kyle Busch and six-time champion Jimmie Johnson will battle it out amongst a full field of 40 cars and whichever of the four finish the highest will claim the 2016 Championship title.

So how does a cheetah choose the winner?

Koda will be presented with smaller model replicas of each of the four finalist's cars.  He will then make his prediction by going to and touching the car he believes will be this year's winner.

Let's hope he can improve his prediction record. Last year, Koda predicted Kevin Harvick would win but it was actually Kyle Busch.
