Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Hit & Run Driver In Tamarac

TAMARAC (CBSMiami) -- A 22-year-old man has lost his life after police said he was struck by a driver who kept on going.

It happened around 5:15 a.m. Sunday, near the 4800 block of West Commercial Blvd.

Moises Figueroa was struck by a 2008 Mercedes GL450 as he walked southbound in the northbound lanes, authorities said. He died at the scene.

An investigation is underway to find the driver.
