FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – A 20-year-old rookie Broward Sheriff's deputy is accused of inappropriately touching a man after threatening to arrest him.

Broward Sheriff's Deputy Trazell McLeod is accused of a sickening crime.

BSO says McLeod was patrolling in the area of Hammondville Road and NW 3 Avenue in Pompano Beach in mid-October when he encountered a security guard.

Detectives wrote in this arrest report that "McLeod 'frisked' (the victim)" and "McLeod grabbed his 'private area.'"

The arrest report says McLeod accused the security guard of having drugs on him and trying to solicit a prostitute. The security guard denied it.

The victim said McLeod tried to get him to have sex with him.

At that point, "(the victim) ran because he was afraid, and he was being extorted to have sexual relations with McLeod."

The victim tried to go home with his wife and kids but the report says "…(the victim) observed Deputy McLeod's BSO marked unit pulled into the driveway of his residence, and McLeod standing next to his unit. (The victim) continued past his residence and rented a hotel room for him and his family for the night."

Before McLeod became a BSO deputy, he was in the BSO Youth Explorer Program and he was sworn in as a deputy in late September.

After McLeod's arrest, Sheriff Scott Israel released a statement saying:

"It's always disappointing to learn that a deputy who swore to serve and protect the public was only out to serve himself. I am extremely proud of the swift actions of our Internal Affairs and Public Corruption Units. Within four days of receiving the complaint, they investigated, conducted surveillance and brought forth evidence to support the immediate termination of this rookie deputy."

According to BSO, McLeod also falsified an official document and considered charging an innocent man with possessing crack cocaine.

McLeod was terminated on October 20th and as a new hire still on probation we're told he has no opportunity to fight to keep his job.
