MIAMI (CBSMiami) --  A man wanted for reportedly raping two women including a 16-year-old girl in Miami-Dade County is under arrest.

Police said they were able to link 49-year-old William Felts to two instances from earlier this month.

The 16-year-old girl was attacked while walking to a bus stop  in the area of N.W. 109 Street and 8 Avenue on October 13th around 6 a.m. Police said Felts, who was armed, forced the woman behind a nearby dumpster, took her stuff then forced her into his car and sexually assaulted her. He later drove her to another location where he left her and sped off, investigators said.

Days later, on October 17th, a 19-year-old girl was sexually assaulted with the same modus operandi. As she walked to a bus stop in the area of N.W. 102 Avenue and 29 Avenue, Felts walked up to her with a gun and took her things, police say. He then dragged her behind the bushes and sexually assaulted her, according to investigators.

At some point in the attack, she was able to escape and run off.

Felts is now facing charges of Armed Sexual Battery, Kidnapping, Armed Robbery and Firearm Possession By A Convicted Felon. He remains in jail without bond.
