Neighbor: Dispute Turns Deadly Between Miami Man & Stepson

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A domestic dispute turned deadly for a man who neighbors said was shot by his stepson at their Miami home.
"It turned into a very tragic, tragic night," said one neighbor, as Miami Police worked late Saturday night and into Sunday morning at the home at 4014 N.W. 5th Street.
Crime scene and patrol units shut down the neighborhood block for hours. And while detectives offered few details on the circumstances surrounding the shooting, nearby residents told CBS4's Donna Rapado that a man and his stepson were heard fighting.
"I heard the screaming and I heard the yelling," the neighbor explained. "I heard, somewhat, the gunshots."
By the time rescue crews arrived, the stepfather was already dead.
"Very quiet family, very religious," the neighbor added, recalling fond memories of the victim. "He was a very, very good guy. He's very serviceable. Anything you needed he would help you out."
She also said she saw authorities take the stepson's car and placed him into custody.
