MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The combination of beauty and Miami Dolphins football was on display at Hard Rock Stadium, and it had nothing to do with the building's stunning new renovations.

The Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders hosted their annual swimsuit fashion show on Friday.

The new squad unveiled their 2017 Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders Swimsuit Calendar as part of the high-energy swimwear fashion show.

A Dolphins-themed segment opened the show, with the cheerleaders wearing aqua and orange to go with the creative display of football equipment.

The fashion show featured a battle between fire and ice, with a beautiful ice ballerina engaging in a dance battle with fierce fire dancers to unleash fire models.

The next scene had a futuristic theme as a TwiinBotz robot danced along with a group of the cheerleaders, who were body painted from head to toe in robotics-inspired shattered metal and screws.

The show also honored the inaugural international auditions that took place earlier this year.  Eight countries that the cheerleading squad represents were introduced with the girls wearing their countries colors and waiving their flag.

As the fashion show concluded, the 2017 calendar months were unveiled with the cover being the final thing debuted to the public.

Miami Dolphins Cheerleader Monica had the honor of being selected as the 2017 cover girl, the third consecutive year that she was featured on the cover.

The calendar shoot itself took place on the island of Barbados.

Preorders for the 2017 Miami Dolphins Cheerleader Swimsuit Calendar are being taken at www.DophinsCheerleaders.com for $18 plus shipping. The calendars will ship in mid-October, according to the Dolphins.
