Miami Beach Police Release Sketch Of Man Wanted In Savage Sexual Battery

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami Beach police are investigating a savage sexual battery that left a woman soaked in blood.

The victim told police she was walking on the beach at around at 10 p.m. on Sunday when a man sitting on a beach chair approached her.

What happened next is chilling.

"He had some type of sharp object in his hand where he proceeded to cut her on the face multiple times," explained Miami Beach spokesperson Ernesto Rodriguez. "And threw her down to the ground where he was able to sexually batter her."

The victim was able to summon up enough strength and fortitude to break free and run to a nearby hotel where police and fire rescue we called.

"This chick came out saying 'help me, help me' over by the beach where the stairs are covered in blood man," said witness Willy Drake.

Miami Beach police released a sketch of the man they are looking for.

He is described a black male between 32 to 33 years old, 5'7'' to 5'8'' with a slim build, dark short and curly hair and was unshaven. He was wearing a green T-shirt and long shorts or rolled-up pant legs.
