That’s according to the National Retail Federation who conducted their annual survey.
The federation predicts consumers will spend $8.4 billion this year on candy, costumes, decorations and treats hitting an all-time high in the survey’s 11-year history.READ MORE: Miami-Dade PD Arrests 19-Year-Old Wanted For Deadly Triple Shooting
That means, according to the group, each person would spend about $83 on Halloween items this year.
And most of the spending will be on costumes and candy!
