HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) - An investigation is underway after two bodies were found in a Hollywood townhouse.

Police said they received a call early Friday morning about deaths at 4920 Sheridan Street in the Hollywood Hills community.

"Upon arrival our units found a man and a woman deceased. Right now it appears to be a drug overdose," said police spokeswoman Miranda Grossman.

While police believe this is likely drug related, they did not speculate on drug they suspect caused the deaths or the circumstances that led up to them. The did say that the man and woman who died appeared to be in their 20's.

"It's just a weird situation," said Etty Elgore who lives next door.

Elgore said what concerns her is she simply does not have much information as to what happened.

"Two people passed away or died, I don't even know the word, in this house. That's all we know. And nothing else. They (police) don't have any information," said Elgore.

It was the owner of the townhome that reported the couple's deaths to police.
