SUNRISE (CBSMiami) – South Florida shopanista's have a new "Haute Spot" before they actually go shopping!

It's a high-end, blinged-out parking spot at Sawgrass Mills Mall, and it's called "The Haute Spot."

Sawgrass Mills unveiled the parking spot Tuesday, calling it the most desirable parking spot in South Florida. It's located inside the mall's new 1,700-space parking garage which will open before the busy holiday shopping season.

"It's a really exciting day for us at Sawgrass Mills because we are adding 1,700 new parking spaces and it's exciting because everyone who comes here knows we need more parking," said Gregg Goodman, President of The Mills division of Simon Property Group. "And from our standpoint, we were able to do something special and get a phenomenal artist to do something that's a tribute to South Florida and a tribute to the city of Sunrise."

The Haute Spot was designed by local and licensed Swarovski artist Jonathan Stein (aka "Lord of the Bling") and features more than 100,000 Swarovski crystals.

"The goal was to celebrate the environment and to show 9 different photographs of the sunrise together. They're hand pieced together and laser cut and I used 100,000 pieces of Swarovski crystals," explained Stein.

It was designed to "deliver an eye-catching, one-of-a-king parking destination just outside of the Colonnade Outlets."

So who was the first lucky fashionista to pull into "The Haute Spot"? It was Adrienne Bosh, wife of Miami Heat superstar Chris Bosh and owner of Sparkle and Shine Darling boutique. Bosh has a new Pop Up shop inside of Bloomingdale's at Sawgrass until Sept. 19th.

But you may also get a chance to park in style. The mall has launched a contest giving South Floridians a chance to win a reservation at the bedazzled parking spot during the busiest shopping days of the year.

The contest kicks off Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. Entrants will be encouraged to show support for Breast Cancer survivors, patients, and their family throughout social media. Fourteen winners will be chosen at random on Nov. 4 and, in addition to a special parking reservation, will receive a $250 shopping spree, VIP butler service, free lunch at Sawgrass Mills and more.

The Haute Spot is now open to the public during the mall's regular hours on a first-come, first serve basis, except for certain days throughout the holidays. Thanksgiving, Black Friday and the twelve days before Christmas will be reserved for contest winners.
