Mention names of senior football prospects in South Florida, and fans will rattle them off like a shopping list. Do the same for the juniors, and the response will surprise you.

Because athletes are coming straight off the youth fields of this talented region ready to go and make an impact as ninth graders, by the time you are a junior, you are indeed a veteran.

As the Class of 2018 finally had the chance to put its foot on the ground last year, mega stars began to surface – and as we hit the 2016 season – these are now those household names that are helping to define football programs.

Since 1970, we have had the pleasure of watching and evaluating more football talent that anyone in the country. For 46 years, some of this sport's finest began their careers on this athletic football fields – from Florida City to Collier City and everywhere in between.

Having the chance to see thousands of football players firsthand from five feet away has truly made what we do the closest that you will come in being able to compare and evaluate prospects. Because we learned without the asset of having game film and information at our fingertips, old school has taught us to be the ears, eyes and every other sense that goes into the total recruitment of an athlete.

In addition to the lists that we put out each year, several times, we have been fortunate to promote and get out every player in South Florida – and beyond – no matter the star rating to college interest. So, singling out a few prospects in this top 75 junior listing, is nothing more than additional promotion for colleges to have the chance to see.

This listing will be repeated a number of times before this class signs on the dotted line in February of 2018
