Hola Magazine Debuts In US With Eva Longoria Wedding Exclusive

(CBSMiami) -- From celebrity weddings to fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, Hola Magazine has remained one of the most popular celebrity-driven publications in the world.

"The Hola family has been around for 73 years, so it's one of the oldest magazines in the industry. It launched in 1944 in Spain and then it expanded in the UK with Hello Magazine in 1988. Now it's finally arriving to the U.S.," said Cristy Marrero, Editorial Vice-President of Hola USA. "It's great considering this is the 35th addition internationally."

"Hola: Made in USA" launched this week with a star-studded cover featuring Eva Longoria and Victoria Beckham as the style queens. Open up the magazine and it's Hola's exclusive about Longoria's May wedding to Pepe Baston, the President of Grupo Televisa.

"We're super excited to launch the exclusive of Eva Longoria at her wedding with the exclusive album of that amazing day that was celebrated in Mexico. We also have Victoria Beckham on the cover, hugging her real good friend, Eva. Victoria designed her dress for the wedding," said Cristy.

All we wanted to portray with this beautiful image is both of them, not just celebrating Eva's beautiful day and special moment, but we're also celebrating female solidarity in the way that female multi-cultural relationships can happen."

The wedding was a who's who of high-powered superstars.

"Victoria Beckham was there with David Beckham. Ricky Martin was there, he obviously sang for her and danced for her," Cristy said.

"It was funny. She said it was a very private wedding. She had only 80 guests but I would say out of 80 people, maybe 60 were big-time celebrities. So, I don't know how private that could be. It was a Hollywood moment but these are her friends, it was beautiful to see," explained Cristy.

In addition to the wedding, the magazine is filled with other celebrity events as well as fashion and style segments, including the first lady Michelle Obama and the "it" girl of modeling these days -- Kendall Jenner.

"Hola: Made in USA" is on stands August 16th, available in English and in Spanish.
