CBS4’s Vanessa Borge visited the new Miami-Dade Animal Services building and streaming live on our Facebook page, introduced you to Kelly.
Kelly is a two-year-old Chihuahua mix who was brought to the shelter on August 3rd.
Kelly has a great disposition and is in need of a loving fur-ever home.
If Kelly isn’t your type of dog, they have about 500 dogs that come through the shelter every week so you can pick the dog of your choice.
Of course, they don’t have just dogs, but plenty of cats as well and for the next couple of weeks, there are no adoption fees for cats. That’s right! Cats are free until the end of summer.READ MORE: Leftover From Hurricane Dorian, 58 Strays From The Bahamas Make Their Way To South Florida
Plus, the cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped and already have their age-appropriate vaccines.
So this is the perfect weekend to adopt a cat at Miami-Dade Animal Services.
For those of you who can’t adopt a cat or kitten but just want to cuddle with them, Miami-Dade Animal Services has a kitten cuddling program which allows people to volunteer their time to help with the cats and kittens and give them lots of tender loving care.
Miami-Dade Animal Services is located at 3599 NW 79 Ave. in Doral.MORE NEWS: Fatal Tamarac Shooting Under Investigation
