ORLANDO, Fla. (CBSMiami/AP) — Administrators for the fund raised for survivors and family of the Pulse nightclub shooting are holding two meetings to explain how the more than $20 million will be distributed.
Ken Feinberg will host the discussions Thursday at the arena where the Orlando Magic play.
Feinberg says the goal is not only to explain how the distribution will work but also to listen to the concerns of survivors and family members.
Omar Mateen opened fire at Pulse nightclub on June 12th, leaving 49 people dead and injuring 53 others. He also died in a shooting with police.
The exact amount each family will get is to be determined by how much is raised by the end of September.
