2016 Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders Full Of International Flavor

DAVIE (CBSMiami) – There is something quite unique about the 2016 Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders.

The 36 women selected to the squad represent eight different countries, 28 cities and speak a combined five languages.

It's the most international cheerleading squad in the NFL.

2016 brought the largest turnout ever seen for Dolphins Cheerleader auditions as over 800 ladies registered for a chance to make the team.

The Dolphins became the first NFL team to host cheerleading auditions outside of the United States.

In addition to local auditions, the organization traveled to Colombia, Argentina, Mexico and Brazil in search of "enthusiastic, charismatic and talented women."
