MIAMI (CBSMiami) — Miami-Dade Police are interviewing family members of a woman who went missing decades ago.

Behdokht Pyke was reported missing back in 1982 but her case went cold.

Now, in 2016, officers followed a lead earlier this week that led them to a backyard in northwest Miami-Dade.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, crews could be seen digging through the concrete behind a home located at 19477 NW 54th Place. Officers said they were searching for evidence pertaining to her case.

Detectives say the investigation is ongoing.

The circumstances of Behdokht Pyke’s disappearance are not known. Pyke would have been 64-years old now.
