A day after the daring escape, the reward for information leading to his capture has been increased to $20,000.

"We have started piecing together many leads and speaking to numerous individuals," said Broward Sheriff Scott Israel, 24 hours since the accused murder suspect disappeared during a hearing where prosecutors intended to seek the death penalty.

The Broward Sheriff's Office said investigators are leaving no stone unturned.

"At this point we know that this escape was pre-planned," said Sheriff Israel. "We know that Resiles had accomplices. We are actively serving search warrants and applying for search warrants as we speak."

What started as a typical morning in court Friday, July 15th, quickly turned into a massive manhunt.

Resiles managed to get out of his shackles and run to the nearest exit. Surveillance video recorded the moments after he ditched his jail jumpsuit, removed his handcuffs, and ran through a northside exit.

With a criminal history dating back to 2013, Resiles is accused of murdering Jill Halliburton Su inside her Davie home in 2014.

Riles is listed at 5'10" with tattoos on both arms.

"And he is armed and dangerous. Let me repeat that. He is armed and dangerous," said Sheriff Israel. "Our goal is to bring him back in a safe manner. I hope and pray that our deputies or any law enforcement that comes in contact with him are able to put him in custody and are unharmed."

Police have warned the public to not engage with the suspect if they see him, but rather call 911 immediately.
