MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Singer Nick Jonas - with 'pastelitos' in hand - met with some lucky South Florida fans for breakfast at Power 96 radio station on Monday.

There was no screaming or fainting for this heart-throb but fans took lots of photos.

Izabella Alois was one of the youngest in the group.

"I was nervous until I got up there and hugged him and he seemed really nice," said Alois.

Jonas - best known as the youngest of The Jonas Brothers - has gained notoriety as a solo artist with hits like "Jealous" and "Chains" and has expanded his career to TV and movies.

Jonas put rumors to rest that he's leaving music for acting.

"I want to be able to do both. That's the idea to be able to put some of my time to acting. It's tough," said Jonas.

He's been acting for some time and says his first love is Broadway. He says his fans will get to see that included on this tour with Demi Lovato.

"I did musical theater growing up and the whole idea building a show was really important to me, working with Demi on that and the team and building something that feels like we're telling a story," said Jonas.

After the tour, he says he'll be working on a film but wouldn't say what. That wasn't a big deal to some of his South Florida fans who won a contest with the radio station to meet Jonas. They say he was surprisingly human.

"I think everyone was really nervous. He brought the energy to a calm state. He's adorable," said fan C. Cardozo.

It was a once in a lifetime opportunity for the fans. Obviously, they are looking forward to seeing him in concert on July 1st at the BB&T Center in Sunrise.
