The sports world has held moments of silence and shown support for the victims of the tragic Orlando shooting throughout the week. The US Men's National Team joined the multitude of voices with the release of a video titled "One Nation" on their YouTube page yesterday.

In the video, the various members of the team offer words of support to the victims and their families.

If you're unable to listen to the video, here's the transcription of the message from the players.

"What happened in Orlando was senseless and our hearts are with everyone affected. Some people, unfortunately, believe in hate. They want to silence the voices of people who look differently, think differently and love differently than they do. Most of all, they want us to feel divided and alone. But you are not alone. We are not alone. We have always been one nation, one team, but this week, we are simply one nation."

The US Men's National Team's rallying cry the past few years has been: One Nation, One Team. But, appropriately in the wake of the events of this past weekend, the team has taken out the "one team" part and made it simply: "One Nation". The US men take the pitch tonight in Seattle at 9:30 pm ET on Fox Sports 1.
