MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Would you go over the edge of a building?

Nineteen floors up from the ground at the JW Marriot Marquis in downtown Miami, dozens of people will be dangling from the side of the high-rise on Saturday, June 4th.

"Over the Edge" is a charity event that brings extreme sports -- and maybe conquering your fear of heights -- and pairs it with giving back to the community!

It will benefit the 29 blocks of families and children in Liberty City serviced by the Miami Children's Initiative, a non-profit that helps kids living in poverty.

MCI cares for them in and out of the home.

"We actually do a lot of 'visuals sign of change that's my pretty way of saying we pick up a lot of trash every day in the neighborhood," said Cecilia Gutierrez from MCI. "When we go into a home, we believe every child we meet is brilliant and has a capacity to go to college and it's our job to help them graduate from college."

Soon to be husband and wife, Vincent and Suneliz, are extra anxious for their turn down the JW.

The daring couple, who live in Liberty city, won the "Wedding over the Edge" contest.

They will recite their vows atop the JW Marriott Marquis and then take the "plunge" into married life by rappelling 19 stories down!

"Around 4:30 we start the ceremony. My dad will walk me down the aisle and then we will repel off the Marriott," said Suneliz.

Their four children will be watching. The event will benefit them directly.

"It will help with books, school, activities, field trips. It makes me feel grateful that somebody really cares about the people in Liberty City," said Suneliz.

Join the thousands that have gone over the edge and register for the charity event on Saturday.
