Suspicious Package Detonated At Government Center

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Police have given the all-clear after a suspicious package was found at the Government Center in downtown Miami.

Chopper4 was live over the area at the Stephen P. Clark Center at 111 Northwest 1st Street.

Police said a homeless man put a box under or near a security guard's car prompting the investigation.

All Metro Mover services were stopped and people were evacuated in the area during the investigation.

The bomb squad was also called out to check what's inside the box.

Just before 2 p.m., authorities gave the all clear.
