Local Businesses Celebrate Grads Who Made The Grade

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Hey South Florida high school and college seniors! If you worked hard all year long and think you deserve a little reward, here it is! There are some local businesses giving discounts to South Florida high school and college graduates, if you made the grade!

At Shooter's Waterfront in Fort Lauderdale that A-B average will get you a free dessert for making the sweet grade.

At Hollywood Eyes in Hollywood, a 4.0 GPA will get $40 off designer glasses and a 3.0 GPA will $30 off because your future is so bright.

At Dr. Patty's Dental Boutique and Spa in Fort Lauderdale, grades with an A-B average get $300-$400 off of teeth whitening.  Now that's something to smile about.

Miami Theater Center in Miami Shores wants grads to know the show is on them. For those good grades, you get a free ticket to a show. Here's how it works: Graduates with a 4.0 GPA get a free ticket when they show their report card and student ID at the box office. Graduates with a 3.9 – 3.0 GPA receive a 40% discount when they show their report card and student ID at the box office and graduates with a 3.0 – 2.0 GPA receive a 20% discount on their show ticket with report card and student ID.
