Water Main Break Causes Road Shutdown In Coral Gables

CORAL GABLES (CBSMiami) -- Police were forced to shut down an area in Coral Gables after a water main break.

It happened Saturday morning near the 1300 block of South Dixie Highway, affecting the southbound lanes.

Miami-Dade Water & Sewer were working to clear the issue but authorities advise to avoid the area.

One lane going south at South Dixie Highway from the intersections of Mariposa Court to South Alhambra Circle was opened to traffic a few hours later.
