Police Ask For Help In Finding Missing Surfside Woman

SURFSIDE (CBSMiami) – Surfside Police have asked for the public's help in finding a missing woman who suffers from dementia.

Mary Rybolowik, 91, was last seen on Saturday, May 7th at approximately 4:30 p.m. on 90th Street and Collins Avenue in Surfside.

She told a neighbor that she was going for a walk on 90th Street and the beach but never returned home.

Rybolowik is 5'4", about 100 pounds and has blonde hair and green eyes.

She was last seen wearing a dark red/purple blouse and dark blue pants.

Anyone with information or that comes into contact with Rybolowik is asked to contact the Surfside Police Department at (305) 861-4862.

UPDATE

Police have located the missing woman in Miami Beach.

During the course of the last 24 hours, officers have been searching on foot, on the beach and with mobile patrol.

Multiple surrounding agencies assisted with the search that began on Saturday night.

Miami-Dade Police Department, Aviation Unit assisted on Saturday and the Miami-Dade Police Department K-9 unit was assisting on Sunday.

Officers passed out and posted flyers as well as utilizing social media.

Rybolowik was found unharmed and in good spirits.
