MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) – Victoria's Secret supermodel Adriana Lima is no stranger to South Florida and Thursday the brunette bombshell was back in Miami Beach promoting another bombshell. It was the launch of the brand's newest perfume called "Bombshell."

Adriana was spritzing locals with the retailer's new fragrance at the Victoria's Secret on Lincoln Road. The cameras couldn't get enough of her.

The Brazilian born beauty has been with the lingerie company the longest of any angel.

"I've been with Victoria's Secret over 16 years and I'm so excited," she told CBS4's Lisa Petrillo.

Now she's excited about the company's new perfume as well.

"Bombshell is an iconic fragrance for us at Victoria's Secret. It won an award for best fragrance of the year. It's very feminine. The scent, it's sweet, fresh and you can wear it day and night," she said.

When Adriana is not walking the Victoria's Secret runway or gracing the cover of magazines, the 34-year-old brunette beauty is mom to two daughters and now calls South Florida home.

"I love it. I love Miami. It's my home and I've been here for 5 years now and I feel close to my roots here. There are so many Latin people here, the weather, and the ocean. My children have so many friends. I love it. I have a healthy quality of life here," she proudly exclaimed.

Last year Adriana was ranked by Forbes Magazine as the second highest paid supermodel with earnings of $9-million a year. Modeling since the age of 5, Adriana does have advice for young girls who would like to step into her shoes.

"For modeling girls, you need to finish school. You're going to travel the world and you're going to meet so many people from everywhere. You're going to want to be educated and cultured," she said.

Bombshell, the perfume, is available just in time for Mother's Day, including a specially designed bottled adorned with Swarovski crystals.
