Halloween Horror Nights Reveals 1st Haunted House Theme

ORLANDO (CBSMiami) -- Fans of the annual Halloween Horror Nights in Universal Orlando got a treat Thursday!

The company revealed its first haunted house theme through a creepy video.

The haunted house - designed as a maze - will be based on the 1974 horror film "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre."

The slasher flick is about a group of friends on a road trip who get stuck and try to get help in a nearby home. That's when they become prey of a cannibalistic family.

As the event gets nearer, the group will release more haunted house themes.

The 26th annual event is taking place this year from September 15th to October 31st.
