Florida Panthers Hosting Playoff Preview Party
The Florida Panthers are playoff bound and the franchise is calling all its fans to come out to celebrate as the team prepares to make a run at Lord Stanley's Cup.
The special event will take place Tuesday, April 12th at Frankey's Sports Bar at Gulfstream Park and will include many fan-centric features.
Panthers official broadcast partners - Miami Sports Radio 560 WQAM and FOX Sports - will host a live playoff preview show from inside Frankey's and there will be appearances by the Florida Panthers Ice Dancers and the team's mascot, Stanley C. Panther.
The live broadcast will begin at 6 p.m. with WQAM's Alex Donno and he will be joined by Doug Plagens and FOX Sports color analyst Randy Moller at 7 p.m. to kick off the hour-long playoff preview special.
As fans enjoy the preview show - which is sure to include one of Moller's zany goal calls - they can take advantage of Frankey's food and drink specials. Also, the WQAM NERGIA Energy Team will have booths set up for fans to play games and win prizes - including tickets to the Panthers first home playoff game.
WQAM's on-air radio broadcast of the event is set to begin 6 p.m. and run until 10 p.m., however, fans are urged to arrive an hour early to interact with the NERGIA Energy Team and be a part of the Panthers frenzy that will build inside Frankey's.
