Brickell Bomb Scare

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - A bomb scare in Brickell.
Tuesday morning an elderly man walked into the lobby of building at 1155 Brickell Bay Drive and said he wanted to blow himself up, according to police.
Miami police were called to the scene and took the man into custody.
Miami police retrieved the man's bag and the bomb squad deployed a robot to check it out. The robot detonated the bag which had the name "Jose Davila" on it. Inside were personal items including underwear, a comb and some pill bottles that appear to have come from Jackson Memorial Hospital.
The man was taken to the pyschiatric ward at Jackson Memorial Hospital for evaluation.
