Michael Bellamy, 56, is the owner of Lauderhill-based Opulent Living. The company is contracted by the state to provide services to people with disabilities.
In June 2014, the woman told Plantatoin police investigators that Bellamy had forced her to have sex with him over a period of two to three months. She said she feared for her life.READ MORE: Transgender Athletes Fight Florida’s New Ban
Bellamy, is scheduled to go before a judge on Thursday, is charged with sexual battery.

“APD has initiated an investigation to ensure all proper procedures were followed. If anyone did not live up to our incredibly high standards, they will be held fully accountable.”
