Missing Miami Teen Found Safe & Sound

NORTH MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A missing North Miami teenager has been found after vanishing from his home.

Jonathan Sanchez, 17, was seen on his home's surveillance cameras leaving with a backpack just before 6 a.m. on Tuesday, wearing a Nike t-shirt.

His family said it was out of character for the teen to run off. They believed he may have been staying with friends.

On Wednesday, Sanchez called his mother to let her know he was safe and they picked him up.
