“If there’s a chance you can make a difference some day in something, that would be intriguing,” Tebow said.
Granted, there has been no indication that Tebow will actually pursue a career in politics but stranger things have happened.

He is arguably the best college football player of all time.
Also, wherever he went in the NFL he was also very popular there regardless of his on-field performances.
