Tornado Warning Issued In Broward, Palm Beach

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) -- A tornado warning remains in effect for northeastern Broward and southeastern Palm Beach counties.

A severe thunderstorm, capable of producing a tornado, was located over Coconut Creek, near Margate, moving east at 15 mph.

CBS4 Meteorologist Craig Setzer says flying debris could be a danger, especially for mobile homes. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles are likely.

Locations impacted include Pompano Beach, Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, Lighthouse Point and Coconut Creek.

Those near the beaches should clear the area and find shelter.
