MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Starting Wednesday, some of you may notice your Kindle cannot access the internet.

That's because you didn't get the update in time.

Amazon says if you don't update your older e-reader before march 22, it will not be able to download books from the cloud or the kindle store and it won't be able to connect to the internet.

The update effects Kindle models made in 2012 and earlier.

If you wait until after Tuesday, you will have to manually add the update using a desktop computer to regain access.
