HIALEAH (CBSMiami) -- Two people have been killed and one hospitalized in what authorities are calling a domestic-related murder-suicide.

Hialeah Police said they arrived to a home at 1280 W. 62nd Street Thursday night to discover a man and two women shot.

Andres Alcalá Gutierrez, 67, shot his wife, Elva Rosa Alcalá, 62, and mother-in-law, Elia Falcón, 84, before turning the gun on himself, officials said.

Gutierrez was dead upon police arrival and the two women were airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Falcón died from her injuries later that night.

Alcalá is listed in stable condition. Family members told CBS4's Peter D'Oench that she is expected to recover after having surgery and that the bullets did not hit any vital organs.

They also said the shooting was unexpected.

That was the consensus of neighbors who D'Oench spoke with.

One longtime neighbor who did not want to give her name said, "I am surprised it happened. They were good neighbors. They lived quietly in their house and never bothered anybody. They were good people. Nobody complained about them."

Four other people were inside the home at the time of the shooting.

One man, who was seen entering the house, said he did not want to comment.

Police are not commenting on camera about this case. Officers were seen collecting evidence at the home early Friday morning.
