MIAMI (CBSMiami) – It didn’t take long for the first big name Miami Dolphins free agent to get scooped up by another team.

Miller reportedly turned down a five-year offer with an annual average of $7 million because he wanted to sign a shorter deal, thought the team that offered that contract is unknown.

Miller spent the first four years of his career in Miami and despite often having a strong yards per carry average, rarely received more then 13-to-15 carries per game.
