MIAMI (CBSMiami) – An attack ad against presidential candidate Donald Trump, funded by a new PAC, attempts to stop the billionaire's momentum. And one of the PAC's top operators is set up right here in South Florida.

Tim Miller wants "anybody but Trump."

He's part of the "Never Trump" movement to take down the GOP frontrunner.

The "Our Principles PAC" is working in several states, but right now Miami's the top spot to be with the Florida primary on March 15th.

"No matter the issue, Donald Trump has been on both sides," Miller said.

The TV ads produced by the PAC will saturate the Florida airwaves.

"We are going to do a 'surround sound' approach – mail, radio, digital, TV," Miller explained.

Big time Republican donors who think Trump will destroy the party are now making their move.

For example, the owners of the Chicago Cubs – the Ricketts family – have kicked in millions.

"Big donors and big supporters who are worried about the Republican Party came together and said, 'This organization needs money, needs cash because now is the time to stop him. If we do not do it before the Florida primary it will be too late'" Miller said.

Backers claim the PAC ads worked in Iowa. It's where Trump lost to Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.

But will it work in Florida?

"There is no leader of this effort and it requires them to take a big risk. Normally they don't like to be on the wrong side of public opinion," CBS Political Reporter John Dickerson said.
