OAKLAND PARK (CBSMiami) -- Authorities are searching for a man who tried kidnapping a woman who was walking home in Oakland Park.

On Friday, the Broward Sheriff's Office released a sketch of the suspect.

Surveillance video from the February 7th incident shows the 21-year-old victim heading home from work when she's confronted by a driver in a Burger King parking lot near 1 West Oakland Park Blvd.

The woman told police he first asked if she needed a ride, but when she refused, he parked his car across the street in a vacant lot and waited for her to continue walking.

Police said the guy then parked in three different places along Andrews Avenue in order to "stake her out."

When she crossed N.W. 35th Court, the suspect approached her and grabbed her arm saying, "Come on, let's go."

The woman was able to break free and get help at the Blanca's Bakery at 3591 N. Andrews Avenue.

The would-be abductor was last seen driving south on North Andrews Avenue in a four-door, silver vehicle with dark-tinted windows, possibly a Ford Fusion. He's listed at about 5'7" tall with an athletic body.

If you know anything, there's a $3,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Call Broward Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS.
