MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Fast food giant Wendy's is investigating possible fraudulent credit and debit card charges that may have affected thousands of customers.

The company said there have been several reports of "unusual activity" on cards used at Wendy's locations across the country and have launched an investigation with the help of cybersecurity experts.

Customers are advised to keep an eye out for unauthorized transactions on your card statements.
