The family thought something had happened to their dog Buddy inside the home but officials said they found out their pet had bolted out of the house during the blaze. They later found Buddy in the yard.

“When we got here the house was on fire and I didn’t know where Buddy was. I was like where is Buddy and they told me that he ran out,” said the owner’s daughter Barbara Santiesbevan.

Chopper 4 was over the scene where a gaping hole could be seen on the roof of the home.
