MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Wednesday was the coldest morning so far this Winter Season for parts of South Florida with mostly low 50s and upper 40s inland.

Miami woke up with a low of 52 degrees. The last time it was colder was back on February 20, 2015, when it fell to 42 degrees in Miami.

Wednesday afternoon will be milder with a bit more sunshine and the winds shifting out of the Northeast.

The onshore flow will moderate temperatures and highs climb to the low 70s.

By Wednesday evening, it will be cool, but not as chilly as the past few nights with lows around 60 degrees near the coast and a few inland areas dip to the low 50s.

The next day will be a bit warmer with highs in the mid 70s and plenty of sunshine.

Friday will be the warmest day of the week with highs in the upper 70s and a better chance of some storms due to another cold front on the way.

By Saturday morning, we'll wake up to a cooler start with lows near 60 degrees and an even cooler Sunday morning with Lows in the 50s and highs in the mid to upper 60s by Sunday.
