NORTH MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Cameras captured a violent robbery of a North Miami store but also got a picture of the culprits.

All this as North Miami Police are asking for the public's help to identify those responsible.

From three angles, cameras rolled Monday morning as one man is seen walking into CB Wireless store  and talking to an employee while looking at the merchandise in the counter.

Moments later, another man walks in and pulls out a gun - pointing it straight at the employee who puts his hands up from behind the counter.

Police said the bandit was demanding money.

The employee complied - handing him cash- but at one point tried to grab the gun from the robber.

That's when a struggle ensued. The robber could be seen pistol-whipping  the employee numerous times while the accomplice helped wrestle him to the ground.

The employee continued to be pistol-whipped as the other man held him down.

A few second later, both bandits rushed out of the store.

The employee- struggling to get up - is seen trying to run after them with no success but the cameras got it all on tape.

The employee was later taken to the hospital where he was treated and released.

The store reopened Tuesday after being shuttered the day before. They are counting their blessings.

"Thank God he is alive. He is trying to rest a little but he is okay. Thank God," said Elva who works at the store.

Elva said they have a great relationship with their customers but "a lot of people just want to get easy money. That's the way. They just want to get the easy money."

Anyone who recognizes the men in the video are urged to call Miami-Dade Crimestoppers at (954) 493- TIPS.
