Rep. Jennifer Sullivan, R-Mount Dora, filed a bill (HB 1013) on Friday that calls for developing the “Safe and Free Florida” license plate.

Motorists would pay an extra $25 for the plates, with the money going to the attorney general’s office for distribution to non-governmental organizations that provide services to victims of human trafficking.
Attorney General Pam Bondi has made a priority of trying to curb human trafficking in the state.
