Dove Chocolate Recalled Over Allergy Concerns

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- The company known for its chocolate treats has issued a recall over allergy concerns.
Mars Chocolate is recalling their Dove Chocolate Assortment Snowflakes that come in a 24 oz. bag.
The company says they are concerned over undeclared peanut, wheat and egg ingredients which could be an issue for those who are allergic to those ingredients.
So far, no adverse effects have been reported.
An estimated 6,700 cases of this item may have pieces of Snickers, Milky Way and Twix, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) website.
The bags listed in the recall were sold from September 19th to December 1st in stores across Florida and other states in the U.S.
