Deputy Daniel Park was assisting another officer with a traffic stop near the 7700 block of West Commercial Blvd, according to BSO Spokeswoman Gina Carter.

Both police vehicles were pulled to the side of the road with their emergency lights flashing when William Grundy, 59, heading west in a Chevrolet El Camino, failed to move over and struck the back of the deputy’s car and into Deputy Park, himself, who was standing just outside the car.
