Winderman: Looks Like Hassan Whiteside is 'Gonna Sign For The Max'
Is Hassan Whiteside on the cusp of becoming one of the highest paid players in the NBA?
"It looks like he's gonna sign for the max and the max is $22.5 million," the Sun Sentinel's Ira Winderman said on Hochman, Crowder and Krantz. "So when you look at that and see they have about $35 million in cap space, and that they're gonna bring Dwyane Wade back and even if Dwyane takes a 50-percent pay cut and goes from $20 million to $10 million, it's really tight on the books. You know who doesn't fit here going forward at all in the future -- they just don't have the money for him who's gonna be a free agent -- is Luol Deng."
