NAPLES (CBSMiami) – One thing is to go par for the course when golfing, another is to watch an alligator make a python part of its full-course meal on the links.

The Classics Country Club at Lely Resort posted on its Facebook page a picture of a gator biting down on a rather large python. The photo was taken by member Pat Aydelott, who received a special request.

“Our Member, Pat Aydelott took this great shot while playing Fiddlers Creek down the street from us. Pat – can you get closer next time so the photo isn’t so grainy? Thank you!” the picture was jokingly captioned.

According to the Sun Sentinel, the incident happened Thursday at The Golf Club at Fiddler’s Creek Golf, located between Naples and Marco Island.
