DAVIE — Miami Dolphins first-round pick DeVante Parker hasn’t had the glowing rookie year many expected heading in, hauling in just four receptions on the season.

He left last week’s Patriots game with an injury to the same foot he had a procedure on last spring but coach Dan Campbell expects his gifted wideout to be back soon.

“Yeah, it looks like it was some irritation in that foot,” Campbell said Friday. “We don’t think it’s a big deal, it obviously ended up being bigger than we thought it would for a week, but we anticipate that he’ll be ok and he’ll be back next week and again, to this point it feels a little more like that, but he did feel better today, he did run around a little bit and we’ll see where he’s at too.”
