MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami-Dade Police descended on the Miami Beach mansion of rapper Lil Wayne Tuesday afternoon.

According to police, they were serving a warrant in a civil case to seize property. CBS4 was told police forced their way into the rapper's home valued at $10.3 million.

TMZ is reporting that the police took items to satisfy a court judgment for $2 million against Lil Wayne. TMZ added the judgement is for money Wayne owes to a private jet company. Their report also stated that authorities carted out some of Wayne's pricey pieces of art – and says Wayne has about $30 million worth of art at the mansion.

All of the drama didn't seem to bother this community much.

CBS4 News spoke to a couple of neighbors who did not want to go on camera but said they've never had any problems with Lil Wayne and they've found him to be an excellent neighbor.

This isn't the first time there's been police activity at Wayne's home.

Back in March, the Miami Beach SWAT Team was called to the house for a prank call of people being shot at the home.

During Tuesday's police raid, CBS4 was told Wayne wasn't home at the time officers arrived.

TMZ reports that he's in Los Angeles.
