Kelly: 'I'm Fully in The Butch Davis Camp'

Who should be the Miami Hurricanes' next head coach?

"I'm fully in the Butch Davis camp, however, I know it's not gonna happen," the Sun Sentinel's Omar Kelly said on the Joe Rose Show. "I like Greg Schiano. I covered him. I'm a little scared of Greg Schiano and I'm good with [Mark] Stoops, I covered him as well. I know a lot of people are gonna say 'oh, we need somebody who is not connected with UM, bla bla bla bla bla' and here's where I disagree with you.

"If you do not know about South Florida athletes, you're done. If you do not know about the culture at UM, you're going to be able to build it the way it needs to be built. That's where I think somebody who is familiar with South Florida athletes and how they're born and bred to be trained like thoroughbreds and need to play like thoroughbreds. That is going to go a long way."
